Facility Security Isn't Always What You Think It is...

About two years ago, I walked through a facility with the local regional police ETF (Emergency Task Force - their equivalent of SWAT).

To call it educational is an understatement. Many "Security Consultants" profess to know all about safety and security when all they really want to do is sell you window film, locks and cameras.

Security is much less about what you have and much more about what you do. And what you do should be based on research.

As strange as it may sound, there is a growing body of research in the security field based on the (unfortunate) growing body of security incidences around the world.

Your solid security plan needs to incorporate the three elements of security:

  • Policy/procedures

  • People

  • Technology

If your plan doesn't incorporate all three, then it is lacking and you need to sit down together with my team.

Let's talk,

Mordechai
